I am SO excited to share Carmella & Colston’s Glendale, Arizona engagement session with y’all! First off, I met these two because they were in the wedding party of a wedding I shot, and we immediately clicked!! Turns out that Carmella & Colston got engaged the DAY BEFORE that wedding, but didn’t tell me day-of! I only learned after the fact when they emailed me asking to shoot their wedding the following year! (Their wedding has already come and gone, you can see more of that here: Lindsay Grove Wedding | The Kelleys.
These two got what I assume was the last “good” weather day of shooting for the summer here in Phoenix. It was breezy, shady and only in the 90’s, which seemed like a miracle. Considering that these two flew in from Wisconsin for their engagement sesh and were used to MUCH lower temps. We decided on White Tank Mountains Regional Park for their Glendale, Arizona session, and it’s definitely one of my favorite photo spots.
Anyways anyways, these two are darling and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding next year at Lindsay Grove!
As always, we have to end this post with polaroids. These are one of my favorite film mediums for taking photos. Polaroids just have a way about them that they make you feel something. And this feeling is something that I love to give to all my couples, along with a tangible memory from our session time together.
